Lalit's Campaign

This is a poster for Lalit's Political, Economic Alternatives Campaign. It demands that the Government of Mauritius use the EU compensation money to create jobs, not to destroy them, better job training, to cease the Mauritian Central bank from depreciating the rupee, and to give sacked workers a plot of land that they can use for agricultural alternatives.

Mountain Mind
I was told that these mountains appear to be drunken. Another person commented that he had always felt as if they appeared two dimensional. I have yet to explore on them, but everywhere you go in this lush country you see them. Forever mountainous and strong, yet with a sense of humour. These mountains don't take themselves too seriously and rule the island with confidence. After all, who will rival them?

New York
I sing the song
because I love the man
I know that some
of you don't understand
Milk-blood
to keep from running out.

Milk-blood
to keep from running out.

sweeping up bits of computer

I've been trying to learn french, but the computer wouldn't let me. Now that I'm home, after adjusting to the speed of t h i s mm a ch i n... e I'm learning french. The RosettaStone software is impressive, if only because one can learn farsi, indonesian and japanese all in the same program.
Ask a your public library if they have an online language learning program where you can access the RosettaStone software online, anywhere. It's way sweeter than paying 160+ to buy one language. (You get full acess to all the languages that they carry for free with the Portland, ME public library)
Now I'm trying to get this video blog up and running but this machine can't handle the intensity of video editing software. I may have to wait until I hang out with grace... and her computer.
